Blessed with an irresistible and soulful voice, Mycah’s music is in a class all her own. She has shared the stage with noted artists such as El Debarge, Lyfe Jennings, The Whispers, Patti Labelle, Luther Vandross, JaRule, Arturo Sandoval, Ray Gaskins & Maysa Leak to name a few. In addition to her debut solo project Roux’s Fantasy, she is lead female vocalist for the group guiltypleasures, who’s debut single "Anticipation (The Remix)" has been in steady rotation on WHUR 96.3FM’s Original Quiet Storm since April 2010, and was deemed a “New Classic” by many.

In 2012, Mycah released her single and re-make of the Duke Ellington/John Coltrane jazz classic “In A Sentimental Mood”, produced and arranged by incomparable keyboardist Dawoud Said. Within days of its release, the video, directed by Frank Johnson of Task Force Marketing and Media Group/WPB Network Films, received accolades from sites such as SoulTracks, SoulBounce and video site DMV Jams, and more. The video is a beautifully shot and classic representation of the song, jazz legacy, and holds true to Ms. Chevalier’s Sultry, Sassy Creole Girl Persona.

She is featured on multiple tracks of Saxophonist Ray Gaskin’s latest album “A Time To Love”, which includes a soul-stirring arrangement of the Ivan Lins classic “The Island"& more! In 2013 she took the stage as “Mycah Chevalier, Blue Note Club Jazz Singer” in the Michael McCorkle Stage Play “All The Man I Need” at The Atlas Performing Arts Center in Washington, DC. “In A Sentimental Mood”, as well as Mycah’s originals “Roux’s Fantasy” & “Jus Won Relax U Blues” are all featured songs in the play.

Mycah also released hit single “In The Groove” with fellow artist Brian Christopher. Within days of its release its received multiple plays on stations around the globe, hit #3 on the UK Soul Chart Top 30 three weeks in a row & was up for consideration for the 56th Grammy Awards for Record of the Year and Song of the Year!!!!!

Last fall, in addition to her Sophomore solo appearance at historic Blues Alley, Mycah starred in a production of the Broadway play "Ain't Misbehaven'", and will looking forward to more theater appearances in the near future!

Summer of 2014 Mycah released a remake of the Michael Franks/Brenda Russell classic "When I Give My Love To You", Featuring Kenny Wesley, which won the 29th Annual WAMA Award for Urban Contemporary Recording and is fast becoming a favorite on WHUR 96.3FM, UK SoulChart, XM Sirius Radio & other internet and terrestrial stations worldwide!
